TANK'S Green Stuff launched TANK’S GREEN&CLEAN, a non-profit Tucson community initiative in 2021. TANK'S believes that everyone wants to get dirty and GREEN&CLEAN our community!
The goal is to partner with Tucson businesses, residents and groups to identify and target areas that need to be GREENED&CLEANED. Together, we can create fun, safe ways to get outside, work together and reclaim and revitalize our community gardens and open spaces.
TANK’S was excited to be part of St. Luke's Silver Chef Challenge. In support of the event, TANK'S and EcoGrow added a new heritage garden and two new vegetable raised garden beds. The St. Luke's annual event is a great cause supporting a community that is always giving back to local seniors. TANK’S participated by building and planting a raised bed community garden for St. Luke’s residents. TANK’S team planned, built, and installed garden beds. Then, together with EcoGrow, TANK’S planted the garden so the senior residents of St. Luke’s could enjoy an ongoing gardening and produce fresh fruits and vegetables for the community.
The garden was just the beginning and now it is part of the residents' own working garden. TANK’S is proud to know that the St. Luke's community residents will continue to enjoy gardening in the new garden beds that we provided.
